High-temperature alloys play a vital role in these fields.
In the aerospace field, as the engine needs to withstand extremely high temperatures, pressures and speeds during the flight of an aircraft, components such as turbine blades and turbine discs made of high-temperature alloys can ensure the stable operation and reliability of the engine. These components must not only have high strength to withstand huge centrifugal force and mechanical stress, but also have good oxidation and corrosion resistance to cope with the erosion of high temperature gas.
In the energy sector, such as gas turbine power generation, high temperature alloys are also used to manufacture key components to improve energy conversion efficiency and equipment reliability. In the chemical industry, some high-temperature and high-pressure reaction vessels and pipelines may also use high-temperature alloys to ensure the safe operation of equipment in harsh chemical production environments.
